 After six years of Rome Tours and Transfers in Italy Nick started a small group of special drivers with authorized licenses to work for the special american clients going to Italy.
All drivers working in Italy must be screened and registered at the Italian police office. But since Nick worked for six years in the Limousine Service business in Rome, Italy he was able to encounter some few great drivers with modern sedans and Mercedes vans willing to collaborate with him in creating a "small pool of drivers" capable of providing quality service to all Americans, Canadians, English and Australians.

Nick was born in Rome the 25th of January 1955, and he's a happily married man with three kids. He was educated in private italian schools and got a diploma as Accountant.
Later attended an English language course and after diploma, joined Trans World Airlines (T.W.A.) in 1976 and spent 25 years with the company, based in Rome Fiumicino airport and assigned to the flight operations office where he also took care of the load control, computerized and manual. After being trained in Paris for both specializations.
 In 1991, Nick was chosen by the company to fly as a load master on the M.A.C. flights, planes that T.W.A. had put at disposal of the U.S. Air Force during the first Gulf war for transportation of U.S. troops from the Gulf. After spending nearly one year flying back and forth to the Gulf area, he was awarded the Desert Shield and Desert Storm civilian medal, along with a Certificate thanking him for outstanding achievement, and given to him in New York by the hands of General USAF Commander at the time Ronald R. Fogleman.
During his years at T.W.A., Nick would supplement his salary by working in the tourism industry as a driver/guide. When TWA entered chapter 11 and ceased operations, Nick founded his own tour company and quickly realized that his prior experience and knowledge would lead to success.
Nick is not only a professional driver but also a certified tour director. As sush he has worked with various VIP clients such as Caroline Kennedy, John Kusak, Dave Winfield, Kimberly Williams, Brad Paisley, Brian Williams, Katie Couric, Scott Hamilton... The list could go on forever as Nick treats everyone like a VIP!

 Tourism is one of Italy's leading industries. To preserve this important national wealth we need not only to preserve our monuments, archaeological sites and museums, landscapes, national parks, beaches, lakes and mountains, but we protect consumers ( = tourists = you ) too, guaranteeing a high level of certified professional operators.
Italian legislation settles all the requirements for these operators, and for this reason all directors of Travel Agencies and Hotels, as well as all Tour Escorts, Tourist Guide, and even Ski Teachers and Horse Trainers, are required to possess an official license issued by either national or local authorities.
To become an Officially Certified and Licensed Tour Escort in Italy ( or Accompagnatore Turistico ) you need to study hard and long and must appear before a National Commetee of Archaeologists, Tour Operators, Foreign Language Mother Tongue experts, Art Historians, Tourist Legislation Specialists, Hotel Managers, pass very complex written and oral examinations. Normally no more than one out of ten passes the grueling exam and gets the Official National License as "Accompagnatore Turistico" (=Tour Leader). This license makes the difference!
